Music for the Spirit Festival

The inaugural Music for the Spirit Festival will be held this weekend in Pittsburgh.

The event features the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh Vocal soloists include soprano Angela Meade, mezzo-soprano,Kelley O’Connor, tenor Anthony Dean Griffey and baritone,Alexander Vinogradov.

Christopher Theofanidis’ The Gift, commissioned by the PSO in honor of longtime Board Chair Richard P. Simmons, will make its premiere.
