Washington cannot survive childish behavior

Washington cannot survive childish behavior

  • April 30, 2013

While watching the news Monday night, I could not believe what I saw. They reported that Robert Wilson, the acting police chief in Washington, had resigned, the second chief in a short period of time. Also, they reported the mayor is claiming they dressed up a mannequin and sat it at a desk to make fun of her.

No wonder the streets of Washington are not safe and crime is up. The police cannot do their job, the mayor cannot do her job, and the city is going down the drain because they are acting like a bunch of children fighting over a swing in the playground. Wake up! Do your jobs. Washington is a place no longer desirable to shop, or even walk on the streets. There is a beautiful college, but the students are not safe and businesses are closing because the public doesn’t feel it is safe to shop there.

If they can’t take the heat, they should get out of the kitchen. Step down and let someone who can do the job step up. Washington cannot survive this childish behavior any longer.
