Whiskey Rebellion Heritage Music Series presents Grand Bon Rien tonight at The George Washington Hotel’s Pioneer Club in Washington.

Grand Bon Rien is a traditional cajun music.

The band was formed in 1994 by five people dedicated to the music as it is played in the dance halls of southern Louisiana: Chuck Ettensohn (accordion), Mark Tamsula (fiddle), Roberta Miller (vocals, fiddle), Annie Trimble (vocals, guitar), and Steve Steinman (bass, guitar, vocals).

Festivities begin at 7:30 p.m.; the band will play at 8:30 p.m. Admission is $5 and free for Washington & Jefferson College students with student ID.
