DUNKARD

Resisting arrest charge: State police arrested a Maryland man at Highpoint Raceway June 8. Kenneth Eugene Bishop, 24, of Little Orleans, is charged with criminal trespass, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. Police said Bishop was highly intoxicated, disorderly and directed to leave Highpoint Raceway by security but refused. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 8 a.m. June 18 before Greene County Magisterial District Judge Lou Dayich.


FRANKLIN

Robbery reported: Nicholas J. Demaske, Jr., 31, of Waynesburg, told state police he was assaulted by an unknown person at 2:40 p.m. June 10 in the area of Route 218. Demaske told police the assailant stole $100 from him during the attack. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-627-6151.


Drug charges: Jason Ryan Rush, 32, of 287 Huffman St., Waynesburg, was arrested June 10 on a warrant for selling heroin to undercover agents April 27, 2012, at Zimmer Lane and Rolling Meadows Road. Rush has a preliminary hearing scheduled for 10:30 a.m. June 20 before Greene County Magisterial District Judge Glenn Bates.


PERRY

Theft: State police said Windstream reported the theft of 300 feet of 24-gauge telephone wire from telephone poles along Gas Company Road. The thefts occurred around 10 a.m. June 9.
