Several defendants enter guilty pleas

WAYNESBURG – A number of criminal defendants pleaded guilty Wednesday before Greene County Judge Farley Toothman. They included:

Tyler Joel Maley, 21, of 1461 Smith Creek Road, Waynesburg; offenses – driving under the influence of alcohol as a minor, second offense; arrested Oct. 25, in Waynesburg, Maley had a blood-alcohol content of 0.129 percent; sentence – 30 days to 6 months in jail, $1,000 fine, 90 hours of community service.

Juanita M. Martin, 35, of 38 Grandview Drive, Waynesburg; offenses – DUI, second offense, combination of alcohol and a controlled substance and a summary traffic violation; Martin was arrested Jan. 1 in Waynesburg; she had a BAC of 0.138 percent and tested positive for use of Hydrocodone, a controlled substance; sentence – following the preparation of a pre-sentence report.

Buddy W. Delorenzo Jr., 21, of 303 Gray Ave., Masontown; offenses – DUI, combination of alcohol and controlled substance, public drunkenness, purchasing or consuming intoxicating beverages, three summary traffic violations; arrested Nov. 8 in Cumberland Township, Delorenzo had a BAC of 0.094 percent and tested positive for the use of Butalbital, a controlled substance; sentence – 72 hours to 6 months in jail, $1,475 in fines, 50 hours of community service.

Opal Marie Haring, 26, of 164 Ridge Road, Jefferson; offenses – theft, receiving stolen property, conspiracy; July 11, Haring and her companion stole a laptop computer and rings from the home of her aunt, Loni Rush, with whom she had been residing, and sold the items at Waynesburg Gold and Coin; sentence – two years of probation, $250 in fines, 50 hours of community service, $291 in restitution.

William Frederick Hartman, 46, of 631 Bowlby Road, Maidsville, W.Va.; offenses – DUI and three summary violations; arrested Oct. 2 in Perry Township, he had a BAC of 0.0159 percent; sentence – 48 hours to 6 months in jail, $1,250 in fines, 75 hours of restitution.

Janna K. Bedosky, 32, of 506 E. George St., Carmichaels; offenses – access device fraud, theft from a motor vehicle; Bedosky stole a gas card from a vehicle owned by Jay D. Enterprises of Waynesburg and used it to pump $2,418.35 worth of gasoline into her vehicle at Pacific Pride between Sept. 2 and Dec. 20; sentence – five years of probation, $500 fine, 225 hours of community service, restitution.

Joy Lynn Krosunger, 43, of 203-A S. Market St., Carmichaels; offenses – DUI and a summary traffic violation; arrested July 2 in Jefferson Township, Krosunger had a BAC of 0.300 percent; sentence – will be sentenced later.
