CANONSBURG

Money stolen: Carmen Sanchez of 600 Duquesne Ave. told Canonsburg police Tuesday her wallet containing $250 was stolen from her home.


EAST WASHINGTON

Unauthorized use: William Lane, 29, of 59 W. Katherine Ave., Washington, was arraigned late Wednesday on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and driving under suspension after allegedly taking a vehicle owned by Jessica Mitchell of 43 Aylesworth Ave., East Washington, without permission May 4. Lane was taken into custody Wednesday night by Washington police after he allegedly caused a disturbance at 7-Eleven, 375 W. Chestnut St. Lane was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and placed in the Washington County jail on $1,000 bond.


ROBINSON

Man charged: Terrance Michael Taraba, 23, of 1051 Valleyview Road, Bulger, was charged Thursday with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia stemming from a traffic stop Tuesday on Route 22 in Bulger, Robinson. He also was charged with having a burned-out license plate light.


SOMERSET

Survey unit stolen: A global-positioning survey unit with a yellow Pelican case was reported stolen Sunday from a data-collection site in a culvert between Interstate 70 and Carlton Drive, Somerset. Anyone with information on the theft of the unit owned by Pathfinder Navigation of Spring, Texas, is asked to call state police at 724-223-5200.


SOUTH STRABANE

Charged in theft: Kevin R. Ledbetter, 25, 464 E. Hallam Ave., Washington, was charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing five pairs of blue jeans valued at $700 from Saks Fifth Avenue, Tanger Outlets, March 28, South Strabane police said. The charge was filed Wednesday and will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.


Retail theft charge: Brittany Evans, 23, of Columbus, Ohio, was charged by South Strabane police with retail theft for allegedly stealing items worth $620 from Walmart, Trinity Point, on two occasions in April. The charge was filed Wednesday and will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.


WASHINGTON

Four charged: State police charged Christine Marie Cain, 25, of 105 Conklin Road, North Strabane Township; Chelsea Marie Scott, 26, of 60 Carl Ave., North Strabane; and Ryan L. Wallace, 25, and Leon Lee McClain, 23, both of 176 May Ave., Washington, with disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia Thursday stemming from an April 6 traffic stop on Locust Avenue, Washington. Police said they found two bags of marijuana in the vehicle occupied by the four, but none of them claimed ownership of the drug. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.


Man threatened: Sean Wright of Burton Avenue told Washington police Thursday morning he was threatened by two men. One of the men reportedly had a gun. City police alerted Canonsburg police, who found the men who allegedly threatened Wright, but they did not find a gun in their vehicle. The investigation is continuing.


Cellphone stolen: Alexandra Knestrick of Canton Township told Washington police Wednesday her cellphone was stolen while she was at Snowy White Laundry, 1070 Jefferson Ave.
