Mildred A. Neidermeyer, 81, of Washington, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013, in Canonsburg General Hospital.

She was born July 24, 1931, in Monessen, a daughter of the late John and Catherine Ilnicki Wisochanski.

Mrs. Neidermeyer was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church.

She was a graduate of Monessen High School and had attended California University.

Mrs. Neidermeyer enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking and crafts. She had attended numerous baking and craft classes. She was a homemaker who loved spending quality time with her husband and family. Her children and grandchildren remember the fun times they spent in the kitchen with her learning to cook and bake and the delicious results they got to enjoy.

On September 10, 1955, she married Richard A. “Dick” Neidermeyer, who survives.

Also surviving are her children, daughters Patricia Neidermeyer (Steve Wilson) of McDonald and Karen (Mike) Thomas of Kenilworth, Ill., and a son, Richard (Jennifer) Neidermeyer of Morgantown, W.Va.; a sister, Joan Zubritsky of Monessen; six grandchildren, Kevin Shoaf, Ann Marie Thomas, Michael Thomas, Nicholas Neidermeyer, Jack Neidermeyer and Kate Neidermeyer; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was one of 10 children.

Deceased is a daughter, Becky Shoaf.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director, where a prayer service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 22, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church, Washington, with Father Thomas D. O’Neil as celebrant. Entombment will follow in Washington Cemetery mausoleum.
