Condit – 50 years

Gerald H. and Bernice M. Condit of Washington will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 29, at Faith United Presbyterian Church, 900 E. Beau St., Washington.

Mr. and Mrs. Condit were married June 28, 1963, in Waynesburg, with the Rev. Robert Borland officiating.

The couple have five children, Jane (Tom) Piatt of Washington, Wayne Gibson of Elizabeth City, N.C., Linda Mankey of Washington, Gary (Kathy) Gibson of Washington and Lisa (Glen) Arthur of Amity

Their grandchildren are Dana Holmes, Robert Dennis, Denise Rhoades, Carrie Wheeler, Melissa Forte, Nicole King and Jacob Arthur. They also have seven great-grandchildren.

Mr. Condit is retired with 44 years of service at Hazel Atlas, Continental Can and Brockway Glass. He is a lifetime member of Amwell Township Volunteer Fire Department and Lone Pine Deer Club.

Mrs. Condit is retired from H&R Block after more than 25 years of service. She is a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and was a member of the Amwell Township VFD Auxiliary for many years.

Both are active members of Faith United Presbyterian Church.
