Wounded Warriors donation
A $6,300 check was recently presented to the Western Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Slovan. The money was raised during a chicken roast at the Knights of Columbus pavilion in Burgettstown. The chicken roast was sponsored by Atlasburg VFW, Burgettstown American Legion, Burgettstown Sons of the Legion, Burgettstown VFW, Burgettstown Knights of Columbus Council 3440 and the Slovan VFW.
