Fun Day dunk
Natalie Blackburn, third-grade teacher at Cecil Elementary School, is dunked during the third annual Accelerated Reader Fun Day. Students set AR goals in September, and those who reached their goal of at least 40 AR points had the chance to dunk a teacher. Seven teachers, Principal Tula Dziak and Lewis Crouse, school custodian, challenged the students to dunk them. Sixty-seven students participated in the dunking. The top three students also received a Barnes & Noble gift card. They were fourth-graders Ethan Norway, first place; Maxwell Robinson, second; and Sarah Sciorrili, third.
