Numerous people appeared recently before Washington County Judge Katherine Emery on criminal charges. Appearing were:
Deborah L. Roberts, 56, of 808 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi; retail theft; charged Nov. 29 for taking a two pairs of earrings from Giant Eagle, Carroll Township; sentence – 3 months of probation.
Shannon D. Kast, 36, of 3298 Conway Wallrose, Baden; theft by deception; charged Sept. 7 for taking a total of $29,617 by submitting false work orders to Tri State Supply from Aug. 8 through Sept. 5; sentence – 3 years of probation.
David Pinchak, 58, of 836 Beech St., Washington; two counts of harassment; charged Dec. 11, 2011, for stalking two victims, both of Washington; sentence – 23 1/2 months of probation, no contact with the victims.
Theresa Cash, no age available, 620 Maple Terrace, Washington; aggravated assault, reckless endangerment; charged Jan. 15 for stabbing her children’s father in the chest at their home; sentence – 3 to 12 months in jail, followed by 2 years of probation.
April A. Owens, 37, of 160 Jollick Manor, Washington; retail theft; charged Jan. 25, 2011, for attempting to steal a pair of boots from the Shoe Department in Washington Crown Center, North Franklin; sentence – 3 months of probation.
Cassi A. Clark, 24, of 103 Wisetown Road, Charleroi; theft; charged Aug. 17 for taking items from a vehicle at 30 Wisetown Road, Charleroi; sentence – 12 months of probation.
Adam L. Chipps, 29, of 11 Hickory Grade Road, Cecil; harassment; charged Oct. 24 after stopping his vehicle in the middle of Cecil-Henderson Road and confronting the driver of the vehicle following him; sentence – $150 fine.
Joshua M. George, 28, of 124 Post Road, Avella; second offense of driving under the influence of alcohol; charged March 11 following a one-vehicle crash on Taylorstown Ridge Road, Blaine Township, with a blood-alcohol content of 0.14 percent; sentence – 60 days to 6 months in jail with work release, $750 fine, 12-month license suspension.
Daniel C. Jordan, 31, of 1222 Thelma St., Pittsburgh; retail theft; charged June 27, 2011, for taking an item from Stereo Outlet, Chestnut St., Washington; sentence – 12 months of probation, 25 hours of community service.
Ryan T. Hickey, 24, of 285 Jolly School Road, Washington; terroristic threats; charged Nov. 24 after threatening his mother; sentence – 4 to 23 months of probation, anger management counseling.
Charles Parks, 50, of 448 N. Main St., Apt. 10, Washington; conspiracy, delivery of a controlled substance; charged for selling heroin Aug. 27 in Canonsburg; sentence – 3 to 12 months in jail.
Lashawn M. Bryant, 21, of 2986 Oak St., Washington; simple assault; charged Oct. 8 for fighting with and stabbing a man in Canton Township; sentence – 23 months of probation, anger management counseling, no contact with victim.
Richard White, 35, of 9 Lenox St., Uniontown; simple assault; charged Feb. 8 for threatening a motorist in Charleroi and demanding money; sentence – 23 months of probation.
Jerome Q. McKoy, 30, 139 Camp Ave., Apt. 2, Braddock; DUI; charged Sept. 2 following a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 79 in North Strabane Township with a BAC of 0.231 percent; sentence – 72 hours to 6 months in jail, $1,000 fine, 12-month license suspension
Shawn M. Burnette, 25, of 475 Addison St., Washington; DUI, driving with a suspended license; charged Jan. 29, 2011, following a traffic stop in Washington with a BAC of 0.124 percent; sentence – 30 days to 6 months in jail, $500 fine, 12-month license suspension.

Aaron Arreford, 22, of 570 Green St., Clarksville; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Jan. 27 at 1030 Shutterly, California; placed in the Probation Without Verdict program for 12 months.
Jonathan V. Guydan, 30, of 455 Cook St., Fayette City; retail theft, possession of a controlled substance; charged Feb. 1 at Walmart, Trinity Point, South Strabane, for attempting to steal $673 worth of merchandise and having cocaine on his person; sentence – 18 months of probation, $39 restitution, no contact with Walmart.
Stephanie Thurston, 56, of 170 Seventh St., Charleroi; possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Jan. 5 at her home; sentence – 2 years of probation.
Kelly L. Koczka, 40, of 940 Orchard Court, Duquesne; retail theft; charged Jan. 24 for taking $97 worth of merchandise from Walmart, Trinity Point, South Strabane; sentence – 18 months of probation, $169 restitution.
Matthew E. Gajan, 25, of 467 Spring St., Richeyville; DUI, accident involving damage to property; charged Dec. 22 following a two-vehicle accident on Main Street in Bentleyville with a BAC of 0.115 percent; sentence – 10 days to 6 months in jail, home monitoring, $800 fine.
Evan M. Walp, 23, of 438 Blaine Ave., Apt. B, Canonsburg; DUI; charged Jan. 2 on Adams Avenue in Canonsburg with a BAC of 0.264 percent; sentence – 10 days to 6 months in jail, home monitoring, $1,000 fine.
Ryan M. Crabtree, 21, of 478 Westland Road, Westland; DUI , accident involving damage to property; charged Jan. 12 after a one-vehicle accident in Midway,with a BAC of 0.186 percent; sentence – 10 days to 6 months in jail, home monitoring, $1,300 fine.
Terry L. Workman Jr., 33, of 308 Route 88, Elco; DUI, possession of a controlled substance; charged June 7 following a two-vehicle crash on Route 917 in Bentleyville; sentence – 6 days to 12 months in jail, home monitoring, $1,000 fine.
John D. Santi, 52, of 26 B St., Ellsworth; second offense of DUI, driving with a suspended license; charged Dec. 30 t Garden and Monongahela streets, Bentleyville; sentence – 6 months in the Intermediate Punishment Program with the first 4 months plus 60 days on home monitoring, SCRAM monitor, $1,750 fine.
Ryan T. Gray, 30, of 610 Shady Ave., Charleroi; DUI; charged Dec. 23 following a traffic stop on Coyle Curtain Road, Carroll Township, with a BAC of 0.264 percent; sentence – 6 months of probation, $300 fine.
