Numerous people appeared recently before Washington County Judge Katherine Emery. Appearing were:
Eric D. Brooks, 47, of 539 Ninth St., Monessen; simple possession, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle; charged Feb 13 following a traffic stop in Upper Speers, when police found 300 stamp bags of heroin and determined the vehicle was stolen; sentence – 24 months of probation.
Billie J. Ashbaugh, 23, of 817 Lookout Ave., Apt. 3, Charleroi; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Sept. 19 after police responded to her residence and paraphernalia was in plain view; placed in the Probation Without Verdict program for 12 months.
Jeremy D. Dunseath, 33, of 321 Beallsville Road, Lot 11, Bentleyville; possession of drug paraphernalia, retail theft; charged for possession when police responded to to a domestic disturbance on Oct. 9 and charged Oct. 4 for stealing two DVDs from Walmart, Trinity Point, South Strabane; sentence –18 months of probation, not to return to Walmart.
Several people were admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program for 12 months for first offenses of DUI. If they successfully complete the program, they can petition the court to have their record expunged. Admitted were:

Semaj J. Lowe, 20, of 736 Franklin Ave., Apt. 2, Wilkinsburg, was admitted for 6 months for theft for taking an air-conditioner while moving out June 27 from a Donora apartment.
Christina L. Louk, 33, of 102 Cancilla Drive, Canonsburg, was admitted for 12 months for theft. She was charged for writing a check from her mother’s bank account.
