Andrew John Bilohlavek of Bethel Park, 26, died Friday, June 21, 2013.
He was the beloved son of Luciana Summaria Bilohlavek and the late Bruce Bilohlavek, loving brother of Lauren Bilohlavek and grandson of Andrew and Elsie Bilohlavek and Saverio and Norina Summaria.
Mr. Bilohlavek was a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania.

Member of St. Louise de Marillac Church
MaryAnn McMillan, 88, of Friendship Village of South Hills, Upper St. Clair, formerly of New Bern, N.C., and Canonsburg, died Monday, June 24, 2013.
She was born January 22, 1925, a daughter of the late John and Mary Ranone.
At the time of her death, she was a member of St. Louise de Marillac Church and was a former member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in New Bern and St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Canonsburg.
In January 1984, she retired from Universal Cyclops Steel Corp. in Mt. Lebanon, where she was supervisor of compensation and benefits.
Deceased is her husband of 57 years, Thomas R. McMillan, whom she married September 18, 1943.
Surviving are a son, TR “Rick” McMillan Jr. (Ernesta) of McMurray; three grandchildren, Terry R. Serena (Scott), Thomas R. McMillan III (Holli) and Michael J. McMillan (Kathleen); and eight great-grandchildren, Dylan, Gregory and Jason Serena, Jessee and Thomas R. IV McMillan, Amelia, Michael John II “Jack” and Mary McMillan. A grandson, Mitchell Serena, is deceased.
Friends will be received from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, June 29, in Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, 724-941-3211, followed at 10:30 a.m. by a Mass in St. Louise de Marillac Church, Upper St. Clair, with Father Michael Caridi as celebrant. Committal and inurnment will be private in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Loved her pet birds
Twila Mae Moore, 92, of Eldersville, died Thursday, June 27, 2013, in Donnell House.
She was born April 28, 1921, in Rea Station, Washington County, a daughter of Grover Cleveland Holmes and Marie Allen Marris Holmes.
Mrs. Moore was a homemaker who loved her pet birds, dog and enjoyed going to flea markets.
On April 1, 1975, she married Clayton Lee Moore, who died March 21, 2007.
Surviving are two sons, David Joe Grandon of Mt. Clemens, Mich. and Larry Joe Grandon of Prosperity; three daughters, Elizabeth Marie (Thomas) Bane of Eldersville, Mary Lou (Robert) Hartzog of Washington and Pearl Louise Blanco of Mt. Clemens; a sister, Shirley A. Moore; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sons, Robert Lee Grandon and William Robert Grandon; three brothers, Grover Lee, William ‘Buck” and Joe Holmes; and a sister, Frances Salisbury.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, June 29, with Capt. Mike Jung of the Salvation Army officiating. Gertrude V. Moll Scopel, 89, of Claysville, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013.
She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony; loving mother of Donna (Craig) Meyers of Wexford, Mark (Nancy) of Eighty Four, Cindy (Chuck) Anderson of Claysville, Jane (Jim) DeSantis of Wheeling, W.Va., and Wendy (Jim) Porter of Wexford; grandmother of 16; great-grandmother of six; and sister of Richard and Raymond Moll.
Mrs. Scopel is best known throughout the community for her generous nature.
As a member of Sacred Heart Church, she devoted much of her time on the church council, organizing rummage sales and manning fish fries to raise money to build the church social hall. She volunteered many hours to various fundraising organizations throughout Claysville and Pittsburgh communities. She had a special knack for gardening and is well known for her silver queen sweet corn and cucumbers. She was an avid reader and loved watching game shows.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, 724-941-3211. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, July 1, in Sacred Heart Church, Claysville. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray. Ronald Louis Taufer
Served in U.S. Army, Air Force and National Guard
Ronald Louis Taufer, 81, of Meadow Lands, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013, in Donnell House, Washington.
He was born August 30, 1931, in Canonsburg, a son of Louis P. and Julia Ann Turco Taufer.
Mr. Taufer was a graduate of Chartiers High School.
He worked for McGraw-Edison for more than 38 years.
Mr. Taufer spent the last 20 years in Florida and worked for Ohio Transformer during his semi-retirement.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force and Pennsylvania National Guard. He retired in August 1991 after 38 years of service with the rank of major. During active duty, he was with the 12th ABN Ranger, Fort Benning, Ga. (Korea), Special Forces, Green Beret (Vietnam) and U.S. Air Force (Gulf War), just to highlight a few of his accomplishments while serving the country.
His hobbies included antique cars, car shows and enjoying the company of his children and grandchildren.
Surviving are a son, Bill Taufer (Dena) of Washington; a daughter, Jeanne Beaumariage (Jason) of Houston; four grandchildren, Mitchell, Morgan and Marissa Taufer and Joelle Beaumariage; four brothers, his twin, Don Taufer of North Carolina, Tom Taufer of California, Ken Taufer (Alice) and Jerry Taufer, both of Florida; a sister Carole Sandy of West Virginia; the mother of his children, Mary Taufer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a sister, Deanne Waite; and a brother-in-law, Ron Sandy.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday in McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 30, with Pastor Stephen Getchell officiating.
