BEALLSVILLE

Drug arrest: Michael S. Orsky, 41, of 295 Hawthorne St., Canonsburg, is charged by borough police with possession of a small amount of marijuana, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. Police said marijuana, empty heroin stamp bags and liquid methadone were found in his vehicle when it was stopped for speeding about 2:45 a.m. Sunday on Route 40, the affidavit indicates. He is in the Washington County jail on $25,000 bond set Monday by District Judge Larry Hopkins.


BUFFALO

Unauthorized use: Jeffrey Aldridge, 40, no known address, was arraigned Monday before District Judge Ethan Ward on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and not having the vehicle inspected after he allegedly took a vehicle from Deborah Kocik, 297 E. Buffalo Church Road, Buffalo, without permission June 23. State police said he abandoned the vehicle in Cecil Township. Aldridge was placed in the Washington County jail on a $5,000 percentage bond.


Driver charged: Tristan Richard Harris, 31, of Youngstown, Ohio, will be charged by state police with driving under the influence of alcohol after crashing into a railing while driving on Interstate 70 in Buffalo Township Monday morning. According to the police report, Harris was driving a trailer truck traveling west near mile marker 15 when several motorists witnessed him swerve off the road, taking out about 100 feet of guardrail. Police said his blood-alcohol content was five times the legal limit for commercial drivers. Charges will be sent through the office of District Judge Ethan Ward’s office.


CALIFORNIA

Assault: California police will file assault charges with District Judge Joshua Kanalis for an alleged altercation that occurred on Park Avenue Friday. A witness told police Ryan Bachurski and Jordan Lagruth, no age or address given, assaulted William Matscko III. Police found Matscko bleeding from the head when they arrived on the scene.


CANONSBURG

One injured: Stephanie Mrosek, 23, of 209 S. Jefferson Ave., Canonsburg, was injured Monday afternoon when her vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by Paul Abraham, 79, of 83 Hart St., Houston. Canonsburg police said Abraham was making a left turn from Morganza Road to Bobby Vinton Boulevard when his vehicle hit Mrosek’s vehicle. Her vehicle went over a retaining wall and into the lot at Starbuck’s. Mrosek went to Canonsburg General Hospital for treatment.


Guns stolen: Allen Lepley, 102 Greenwood Drive, Canonsburg, told Canonsburg police Monday that a .22-caliber Smith & Wesson handgun and .22-caliber Ruger handgun with a silencer were stolen when they apparently fell out of the back of his pickup truck when he was on Morganza Road.


Wallet stolen: Christina Hollandsworth, 344 Park Ave., told Canonsburg police her wallet was stolen Monday. The wallet was found near Chartiers Creek but the credit cards were gone. Attempts were made to use her Kohl’s charge on the Internet but the card was declined.


Tools stolen: Don Spotti, 1360 Lucia Drive, told Canonsburg police Monday that a concrete saw, drill, nail gun and miter saw were stolen.


CECIL

Bikes, copper stolen: Two mountain bicycles and 30 feet of copper piping were stolen from a backyard in Muse, township police said. James D. Vanderlee of 109 Beech St., returned home Thursday and discovered a small, lime-colored mountain bicycle and an adult maroon mountain bicycle were missing from the yard, police said. Vanderlee also told police 30 feet of copper was gone.


CHARTIERS

Two assaulted: Wayne Bates, 29, of North Main Street, Houston, and Damyon Carpenter, no age or address available, told Chartiers police that they were assaulted by a group of six or seven men Sunday on Railroad Street. Bates was punched in the eye while Carpenter suffered a broken jaw. Bates told police the men were in a black sport utility vehicle while Carpenter said the vehicle was white.


DONORA

Theft charge: Richard Bailey, 45, of Smithton, is charged by borough police with theft, accused of stealing a smartphone about 5:15 p.m. June 19 from Donald Jericho while the two worked at Spartech Polycom, court records show. He is free on $5,000 bond after being arraigned Monday before District Judge Mark Wilson.


EAST BETHLEHEM

Indecent assault: Martin Sullenberger, 77, of 115 Center St., Centerville, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant stemming from a June 25 incident at Family Dollar, 25 Front St., East Bethlehem police said. A store employee told police Sullenberger touched her breast, hugged her and touched her neck. He also suggested they go out for dinner and said she call call him “grandpa.” When she tried to run away, he reportedly grabbed by the hand and told her to keep it a secret. She told police she did not know Sullenberger. Sullenberger was arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis on charges of indecent assault, harassment and stalking. He was placed in the Washington County jail on $2,500 bond.


EAST WASHINGTON

Vehicles entered: East Washington police are reminding residents to keep their garage doors closed and vehicle doors locked after a man was seen entering vehicles on Lemoyne, Wilmont and North Wade avenues Thursday. The man also was seen going through yards, He was seen getting into a silver Toyota Tacoma. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-225-3521 or 724-222-2929.


NORTH STRABANE

Charged in assault: Zachary J. Semple, 23, of 728 Highland Ave., Canonsburg, was arrested early Tuesday by North Strabane police for allegedly assaulting Mia Ladzinski. He is also accused of holding her down on the bed in her home at 217 Meadowview Drive for several hours. Ladzinski said Semple kept his hand over her mouth and bit her lip. Ladzinski was able to get free when he went to get her an ice pack. She locked herself in a bathroom. Semple was taken into custody at his home by Canonsburg police. Semple was arraigned before District Judge Larry Hopkins on charges of simple assault, harassment, and unlawful restraint. He was placed in the Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.


Criminal trespass charges: Ronald Schneider of Imperial was charged by state police with criminal trespass after he was found early Sunday on the gaming floor of The Meadows Casino when he was not permitted to be there.


SOUTH STRABANE

Business burglarized: Monro Muffler, 131 Murtland Ave., was burglarized Monday, South Strabane police said. The cash register drawer was opened but the thief did not get any money.
