Ben Kennedy has added the Truck Series race at Chicago to his 2013 schedule.

Kennedy plans to run four truck races with Turner-Scott Motorsports in the No. 30 Chevrolet. He was already scheduled to make his NASCAR national series debut in the August truck race at Bristol, and had Iowa and Homestead on his calendar.

"I can't wait to make my debut at Bristol with Turner-Scott, and I am excited to get the chance to build on that this season," said Kennedy, the great-grandson of NASCAR founder Bill France and son of International Speedway Corp. CEO Lesa France Kennedy.

The 21-year-old Kennedy is a student at University of Florida and was recently named a participant in the NASCAR "Next" group of young talent.

"I am just trying to learn as much as I can every time I go out there, so it is humbling to be included as someone to keep an eye on in the future," Kennedy said. "We are focused on having a strong run in the K&N East championship, and of course looking forward to getting the chance to race in trucks, so I just can't wait for what's next."
