Arlene M. Blauser Garbarino

Enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren

On Sunday, July 7, 2013, Arlene Garbarino, 61, passed away in her Midway home with her family at her side.

She was born April 12, 1952, in Ridgway, a daughter of John and Jacqueline Garity Blauser of Ridgway.

Also surviving are her beloved husband, William Moore Garbarino Jr.; two daughters, Heather Marie Mastic of Midway and Jeannette (Brian) Burholt of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren, Jessica and Cody Mastic, and Isabella, Alayna and Olivia Burholt; two sisters, Judy Lunder of St. Marys and Kathy VanOrsdale of Ridgway; mother-in-law Eileen Garbarino; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and traveling to yard sales and flea markets. Mrs. Garbarino also donated her time to Midway Community Center, the Girl Scouts, where she served as a leader, and to Midway Fire Department.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Thomas-Little Funeral Service Inc., 106 St. John Street, Midway. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, in St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Bulger. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations my be made to Washington Hospital hospice care, The Washington Hospital Foundation, 155 Wilson Avenue, Washington PA 15301-9986.
