Kathleen A. Dickey, 65, of Carmichaels, died Saturday, July 13, 2013, in the home of her daughter.
She was born June 11, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of the late John and Edith Chonko Meder.
Mrs. Dickey was a devoted member of Carmichaels Congregation Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She enjoyed reading and teaching the Bible and caring for her grandchildren.
Surviving are three children, Dennis John Dickey (Colleen Sweeney) of Dry Tavern, Deborah Denise Triola (Robert) of Carmichaels and Daniel Edward Dickey (Ericia) of Cape Coral, Fla.; a sister, Audrey Grunau (Gordon) of Cleveland; 12 grandchildren, three of whom she was raising, Douglas, Charlette and Allison Dickey; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation or service at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Carmichaels Kingdom Hall. Lesako Funeral Home Inc., Paul M. Clara Janet Jordan
1947 – 2013
Clara Janet Jordan, 66, of Nemacolin, died Sunday, July 14, 2013, in her home, after a lengthy illness.
She was born April 13, 1947, in Perryopolis, a daughter of the late Edna Mae Forsythe and Sam Shields.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas Jordan; seven children, Nina Jordan of Nemacolin, Clara Piper (Bill) of Carmichaels, Barbara Phillips of Carmichaels, Thomas Jordan Jr., Joann Lowry (Todd) and Joyce Jordan, all of Nemacolin, and Jimmy Jordan of Waynesburg; a sister, Jenny Newman (Charles) of Point Marion; two brothers, Emmanuel Perkins of Pittsburgh and Robert Forsythe of Uniontown; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two sisters, Edith Stebok and Rose Grow, and a brother, Oliver Forsythe.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 10 to 11 a.m., the time of service, Wednesday, July 17, in Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, PA 15320, 724-966-5100, Paul M. Frances H. Schimansky
Frances H. Schimansky, 91, of McMurray, died Saturday, July 13, 2013, in Consulate Health Care, North Strabane Township.
She was born July 12, 1922, in Strabane, a daughter of Joseph and Veronica Staniszewski.
Mrs. Schimansky worked at Jeffreys Drug Store in Canonsburg for many years.
On November 18, 1945, she married Stanley Schimansky, who died May 22, 2002.
Surviving are a son, Robert Schimansky (Joan) of Wellington, Fla.; a daughter, Linda Dami (Ray) of McMurray; four grandchildren, Loren Schimansky of Wellington, Robin Jo Schimansky of Bridgeville, Desiree Dami-Pollard (Chris) of Tarrs and Tony Dami (Jamie) of Washington; four great-granddaughters, Emma and Abby Schimansky-Stenstrom and Melanie Rae and Claire Frances Dami; and a sister, Jean Kusky of Strabane.
Deceased are four brothers, Enoch, Walter, John and Vince “Billie” Staniszewski, and four sisters, Jay Staniszewski, Sister Mary Lucille, Loretta Habe and Albina Yarkosky.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of service, Tuesday, July 16, in Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 105 Gateshead Drive, McMurray, PA 15317, with the Rev. Charles Hartbauer officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church or Peters Township Ambulance Service, 300 Municipal Drive, McMurray, PA 15317.
