Head-on crash kills drivers of 2 SUVs

KANE (AP) – State police say a head-on collision in western Pennsylvania killed the drivers of two sport utility vehicles and injured two other people.

Police in McKean County say an SUV traveling on Route 321 in Wetmore Township crossed the center line and struck another SUV shortly after midnight Saturday.

Police said 19-year-old Michael Kennedy was pronounced dead at the scene by the county coroner.

They said 35-year-old Justine Bowser was taken to Kane Community Hospital, where she was pronounced dead of her injuries. Two juveniles in her vehicles had minor injuries.

Police say the crash remains under investigation.
