: Police beat Aug. 25

Burglary: On Aug. 12, someone broke into the home of David and Nicole Legerski at 745 Dillie Run Road, Morris Township, and stole jewelry, electronics and a savings bond, police said.

Simple assault: Joseph Shuba, 30, of 2250 1/2 Cornelia St., Canton Township, told police Saturday that his wife, Nicole Shuba, 26, punched him five times in the back of the head and once in the face. Nicole Shuba was arraigned on simple assault charges and taken to Washington County Jail in lieu of bail.
