Police beat Aug. 27
Jewelry stolen: Several pieces of jewelry were stolen from a stand set up on Center Street between 12:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. Aug. 18, state police said. The jewelry is owned by Karen Pitori.
Car damaged: A car parked at 308 Waterdam Road was damaged with a sharp object between 3 p.m. Friday and 5 p.m. Saturday, state police said. The car is owned by Dianna Fonner of Waynesburg.
Vehicle stolen: A Polaris Ranger was stolen from 117 Baker Road between 7 p.m. Aug.10 and 6 a.m. Aug. 12, state police said. The vehicle is owned by Precision Pipeline.
Four cited: Four people were cited for harassment following an altercation at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at 107 Mountain View Garden apartments, state police said. They are Ronald Brandon Morris of Waynesburg, Harley Davidson Smithley of Nemacolin and Martin Frodelius and Sandy Lee Toland, both of Dilliner.
Man cited after altercation: Jarrod Corcoran of Masontown was cited for harassment following an altercation with Brandon Hetrick of Waynesburg at 1:05 p.m. Sunday at Tommy Boys Tavern, state police said.
Copper stolen: Copper and straps were stolen from a Transcore tower at the Emerald Mine between 8 p.m. Aug. 15 and 9 a.m. Aug. 16, state police said.
One injured: At least one person was injured in a two-car crash at 7:35 a.m. Friday on Route 88, north of Julia Street, state police said. Police said Sabrina L. Snyder, 20, of Carmichaels, was driving north when her car entered a pool of water on the highway and crossed into the southbound lane colliding with a car traveling south operated by Cathy L. Cosgrove-Davis, 58, of Crucible. Cosgrove-Davis was injured; however, the severity of the injury was not known, police said. Police said it was not known if Snyder was injured.
Harassment: Four people were cited for harassment after they struck and pulled the hair of an unnamed female victim between 2:30 and 3 a.m. Saturday on Rudolph Run Road, state police said. Those cited are Roger Hodgson and Flora Bennett, both of Spraggs, and Jamie Bennett and Michael Bennett, both of Waynesburg.
