Buffalo Grange will meet at 7 p.m. Friday in the grange hall.


Lawnfest will be held from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Strabane Trails Village and Strabane Woods, 317 Wellness Way, Washington. There will be food, a Chinese auction, balloon artist and music by Back Together’s Steve Haberman. For more information, call 724-225-4100.


Amwell Township Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the township community building. “Views of Washington” will be presented by Ray Racunas. The log cabin in Amity will be open from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Women of Southwestern Pennsylvania Inc. will host its first event of the year at 6 p.m. Sept. 19 at the Sharp Edge Brasserie at Peters Town Center. Loraine Stanek, a tight end for the Pittsburgh Passion professional women’s football team, will speak. The 25th annual Senior Expo will be held Sept. 19 at Washington Crown Center.


Pittsburgh Banjo Club will play at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 20 at Strabane Trails Village, 317 Wellness Way, Washington. The event is free, but registration is requested by calling 724-225-4100. Tours of Strabane Trails Village’s independent living community also will be available.


Multiphasic Blood Analysis will be held from 7 to 11 a.m. Sept. 28 in the Education Conference Center at Monongahela Valley Hospital. The 36-function screening costs $25. Participants are asked to provide the full name and complete address of the physician to whom their test results will be sent. Testing is by appointment only. Deadline to register is Sept. 25. Innovations in Diabetic Foot Care and Wound Care will be presented by Dr. Richard A. Young at 6 p.m. Sept. 30 in the Education Conference Center at Monongahela Valley Hospital. Young will repeat the talk at at 6 p.m. Oct. 2 at the HealthPLEX, Willow Room. Refreshments will be served, and parking is free. To register for either program, call 724-258-1333.
