1980 – 2013
Allen Robert Barnes, 33, of Lawrenceville, Pittsburgh, died Thursday, September 5, 2013.
He was born February 7, 1980, in Washington, a son of Robert A. (Diana) Barnes of Canonsburg and Linda Day Barnes of Belleville.
Mr. Barnes was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed spending time with friends shooting pool.
He worked as a iron pourer for McConway and Tourley in Lawrenceville.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a sister, Carey Barnes of Banksville, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Deceased are paternal grandparents Robert H. and Marie Barnes and maternal grandparents Bob and Jean Day.
Friends will be received from 6 to 7 p.m., the time of memorial service, Tuesday, September 10, in Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Route 50, Cecil, with Pastor Max Miller of First United Methodist Church of Houston officiating. Private interment will be in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.

Burial for Robert A. “Peanuts” Davis, who died Friday, September 6, 2013, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 10, in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township. Graveside rites will be accorded by American Legion Post 175 Honor Guard and Firing Squad and representatives of the U.S. Navy.

James C. Dunn
World War II veteran
James C. Dunn, 87, of McMurray, died Saturday, September 7, 2013, in Canonsburg General Hospital.
He was born April 29, 1926, in Canonsburg, a son of J. Joseph and Mary Wagner Dunn.
Mr. Dunn was a 1947 graduate of Trinity High School.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in the 8th Bomber Group.
Mr. Dunn retired following 38 years as a truck driver for Guttman Oil of Washington, formerly Pyramid Oil Co.
On November 22, 1948, he married Shirley Mae Hamilton, who passed away March 4, 1990.
He married Judith Puskarich of Washington, who survives.
Also surviving are four children, Mark W. Dunn (Carol) of Canonsburg, William C. Dunn (Sallie) of Eighty Four, James B. Dunn (Darlene) of Washington and Kathleen Sue Hilderbrand (Harry) of Washington; 10 grandchildren, Matthew Polland, Jeremy and Jared Triplett, Alisha Roberts, Rebecca Dunn, Jessica Dunn, Sabrina Leshko, Joe and Jim Dunn and Jonathan Stewart; nine great-grandchildren; four stepchildren, Debbie Minor (David) of Eighty Four, Dona DeAngelis of Canonsburg, Darlene Ziemba (Frank) of Cecil and Edward Puskarich of Akron, Ohio; a stepgrandson, Chad Ziemba; a stepgreat-granddaughter; and a sister, Shirley Comer (Bob) of Greene County.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342, where military honors will be accorded at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 12, by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 191, Canonsburg, and American Legion Post 902, Houston, combined honor guard. Private interment will be in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.

Reba E. Sethman Fowkes Mikulicz
1926 – 2013
Reba E. Sethman Fowkes Mikulicz, 86, formerly of Coal Center, Granville, died Saturday evening, September 7, 2013, in Flo’s Personal Care Home, Elco.
She was born October 8, 1926, in Fayette City, a daughter of Harry and Henrietta Kennedy Sethman.
On June 19, 1972, she married John Mikulicz, who died November 16, 1990.
Surviving are two sons, Danny W. Fowkes (Angie) of California and James D. Fowkes (Diane) of Bentleyville; three grandchildren, Michelle Huba (Jim), Michael Fowkes (April), both of California, and Michelle Rodriguez (Tim) of Bentleyville; five great-grandchildren, Aidan and Macie Huba and Taylor Alexis Fowkes, all of California, and Michael and Joseph Rodriguez, both of Bentleyville; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her first husband, William “Winnie” Fowkes; brothers Harold and Guy Sethman; and sisters Geneva Mitchner, Roberta Zinanni and Wilma Holma.
Special care was provided her by Flo’s Personal Care Home and Darlene Huston and her staff of Via Quest Hospice.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, September 10, in Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a service will follow at 8 p.m., with the Pastor Brian Carroll officiating. Private interment will be held Wednesday in Howe Cemetery, Long Branch.

Martha Rozanc, 96, of the Glencannon neighborhood of North Strabane Township, formerly of Houston, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2013, in the home of her granddaughter, with her loving family by her side.

Mary Ann Rujak
Former Weirton Steel employee
Mary Ann Rujak, 87, of Weirton, W.Va., passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013, in Brightwood Center, Follansbee, W.Va.
She was born February 21, 1926, a daughter of the late Ambrose “Lefty” McCaffery and Ilah Robertson McCaffery.
Also deceased are her husband, Andrew S. Rujak, who died September 9, 2009, and a brother, William McCaffery.
Mrs. Rujak worked in the tin mill payroll department of Weirton Steel Co. until her marriage and later served as a full-time homemaker and mother.
She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weirton.
Surviving are a son, Philip of Weirton; daughters Melinda (David) Fuchs of Coldwater, Mich., and Andrea (Nick) Fusco of Charleston, S.C.; cousin (but more like a sister) Marjorie Cowden of Eldersville; very special friends Denise (Denis) Palcic of Weirton and Valerie Santangelo of Follansbee; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at noon Wednesday, September 11, in St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weirton, with the Rev. Larry Dorsch presiding.
