CANONSBURG

Theft charge: Ronald Washington, 41, of 119 Greenside Ave., Canonsburg, was charged Monday with theft for allegedly stealing $765 from the nursing home where he worked and lived earlier this month. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.


CECIL

Theft from vehicle: A debit card and $600 were reported missing from a vehicle owned by a Maryland woman who was visiting her father, township police said. Mae Hofrichter told police she went to a grocery store at 6 p.m. Saturday, and that was the last time she saw the items. The theft was reported Tuesday. She was visiting her father on DePaoli Road.


Tools stolen: An impact driver and a circuit tester were stolen from outside the garage at the residence of David Zgorzeliski, 411 Cardinal Drive, Hendersonville, township police said. The items are valued at $365. The theft was reported at 7:20 a.m. Tuesday.


CHARTIERS

Teen injured: Austin Cole, 17, of 203 Grace Ave., Canonsburg, was injured Sunday when his vehicle hit an embankment in the 500 block of Chartiers Run Road, Chartiers police said.


Items stolen: Stuart Harper, 326 Cloverdale Drive, told Chartiers police Saturday that two Fuji cameras and a .22-caliber Beretta handgun were stolen from his home.


Car damaged: James Shultz told Chartiers police Friday that his mother’s car was damaged while parked on West Pike Street. The dashboard, doors and seats were slashed and the outside scratched.


DONEGAL

Harassment, disorderly charges: Chad Spencer, 39, of Ellsworth, was charged Tuesday by Donegal police with harassment and disorderly conduct. He is accused of slapping Cara Strawn in the face during a Sept. 3 incident at her home at 989 Old Brick Road. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.


MIDWAY

Theft, receiving arrest: Cory Thomas Wauthier, 419 Walnut St., Midway, was arraigned Tuesday on charges of theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing items from his father’s home June 22. Stolen items included a television, revolver, tools and jewelry. Some of the items were found pawned at businesses in Allegheny County. Wauthier was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and released on a $25,000 unsecured bond.


WASHINGTON

Wallet stolen: A woman reported to city police that her wallet containing $80 and multiple credit cards was stolen from her workplace front desk at 150 West Beau St. around 2:30 p.m. Monday.


Criminal contempt charge: Saul David Wells, 45, address unknown, was arraigned Tuesday on charges of indirect criminal contempt for allegedly violating a protection from abuse order and attempting to call his ex-girlfriend/wife more than 11 times July 25. He was taken to Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.


Drug possession charge: Jesse Klaus, 19, of McKees Rocks, was arraigned Tuesday on charges of possession and driving with a suspended license. Police said Klaus drove on North Franklin Street Aug. 7, and several grams of cocaine and 48 pills containing methamphetamine were found in his vehicle. He was taken to Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.


Retail theft: Danielle Metts, 44, of Sugar Maple Circle, was arraigned Tuesday and charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing $25 worth of merchandise from CVS Pharmacy, at 175 West Beau St., Aug. 21. She was taken to Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.


Vehicle theft: Frank Gilbert Green, 46, of 314 Lillian St., Charleroi, was arraigned Tuesday on multiple charges of receiving stolen property, fleeing police, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, accident involving damage, driving with a suspended license and several traffic violations. Police said they stopped Green in his vehicle on the 300 block of West Chestnut Street Aug. 23 because he was a suspended driver. Green then allegedly led police on a car chase, almost hitting a vehicle and man in Walther’s Hill House Pizza lot. Green allegedly struck another police car, struck a fence and ran on foot before he was caught by police. He was taken to Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.


Attempted robbery: Samuel Wheeler, 51, of 105 West Walnut St., and Randolph T. Lewis, 42, of 113 Maple Ave., were arraigned Tuesday in connection with an attempted robbery at the 400 block of Meadow Avenue Aug. 14. Wheeler and Lewis allegedly demanded $100 from Keith Jackson, who was in his car in the parking lot of Chicken Charlies. Police said Lewis took Jackson’s car keys and cellphone and threw a brick through his car window, and Wheeler told Jackson he would have him killed. Both were taken to Washington County jail on $20,000 bond.


Drugs, stolen property charges: Anthony Michael Byers, 26, of 480 Addison St., was arraigned Tuesday on charges of possession and receiving stolen property for allegedly having 17 stamp bags of heroin in his pocket and a stolen stereo and iPod in his residence Aug. 15 during a compliance check by a probation officer. He was taken to Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.


Retail theft, drug possession: Kevin Robert Ledbetter, 26, of 464 East Hallam Ave., was arraigned Tuesday for allegedly stealing clothing items from TJ Maxx in Peters Township Aug. 2. Police said they found crack and a used heroin needle, and additional stolen items in the trunk, during a vehicle search at 21 Spruce Ave. He was taken to Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.


Robbery conspiracy charges: Mark McMillan, 21, of 549 Buena Vista St., was arraigned Tuesday on charges of robbery conspiracy for allegedly joining two other males in stealing a backpack containing $105 from a minor at the 100-200 block of Baird Avenue Jan. 13. He was taken to Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.
