Home burglarized: A Fallowfield Township man is accused of trying to burglarize a California home early Friday morning while the resident was sleeping inside. California police said a woman called them shortly after midnight and said she heard someone inside her home. When officers arrived at 17 Harrison Road, they said they found Michael J. Jericho in the home’s “mudroom.” Police said he told them he moved out of the house in April and was trying to retrieve his tools inside. Police charged Jericho, 29, of 877 Bentleyville Road, with burglary. He was taken to Washington County jail on $25,000 cash bond.
Burglary report: State police said tools valued at $3,600 were stolen Sept. 25 or 26 from a shed owned by Aarcon Enterprises Inc. at 5 Route 917. A hinge was cut off the door to enter the structure, police said.
Casino disturbance: James H. Falgione, 58, of 129 Martinique Drive, Penn Hills, was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and public drunkenness after state police said he was intoxicated and causing problems at Meadows Racetrack & Casino early Friday morning. Police said Falgione and a woman were causing a disturbance in the casino about 2:30 a.m. and were walking to his parked car when he allegedly resisted troopers as they tried to arrest him. District Judge David Mark arraigned Falgione, and he was taken to Washington County jail on $10,000 cash bond.
Checks and credit card stolen: Khourtney Franell, 22, no address available, was charged with access device fraud after Washington police said she stole a woman’s credit card and used it to pay $365 for an intramural basketball league membership at Southpointe Icoplex on Sept. 24. Police also charged her with forgery after investigators said she stole three checks and made purchases totaling more than $1,000 in June.
City bar burglarized: Washington police are investigating an attempted burglary at Ernie’s Freestyle Restaurant early Friday morning. Police said someone broke a window and went into the restaurant about 3 a.m. The person left before police arrived, and no items were taken.
iPad stolen: An iPad worth about $600 was stolen from a residence at 650 Maple Terrace on Monday night while the resident was visiting a neighbor, Washington police said.
