Wash High rolls over winless Brownsville

REPUBLIC – Jordan West and Jonathan Spina both scored a pair of touchdowns as Washington routed Brownsville, 50-14, Friday night in an Interstate Conference game to remain unbeaten and set up a showdown with unbeaten Mt. Pleasant next week.

West scored on runs of 3 and 13 yards for the Prexies (6-0, 6-0), who host Mt. Pleasant, a 35-21 winner over Jeannette, next Friday. Spina had a pair of 2-yard TD runs for Washington, which also got a 56-yard fumble return for a score from DeQuay Isbell as the Prexies built a 35-0 first half lead.

Brownsville falls to 0-6, 0-6.
