CALIFORNIA

Underage drinking charge: Morgan L. Sterling, 19, of Fredericktown, was charged with underage drinking and public drunkenness after California police said she was found intoxicated at Second and Green streets about 2 a.m. Saturday.


CANONSBURG

Police break up large fight: Several people were charged Sunday night following a large fight outside 131 N. Jefferson Ave. in Canonsburg. Borough police said they charged Angelia Waskiewicz, 23, of 132 ½ N. Jefferson Ave., Canonsburg, and Lea Sluser, 19, and Pamela Waskiewicz, 48, both of New Kensington, with disorderly conduct following the 6:30 p.m. fight. Police said they also cited Lisa Oliver, 39, of 129 N. Jefferson Ave., and Summer Peterson, 33, of 131 N. Jefferson Ave., for harassment.


Lodge cited for violations: The state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement said it cited the IBPOE of the World Canon Lodge 186 at 146 Murdock St., Canonsburg, for multiple violations on four separate occasions. Police said the lodge served alcohol after hours, let patrons leave with drinks Feb. 24 and in March and sold alcohol to nonmembers Aug. 25 and Oct. 27 in 2012.


Private club cited: Canonsburg Elks Lodge 846 at 600 Ridge Ave. was cited for serving alcohol to nonmembers, according to the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement.


CHARLEROI

Drug charges: Darvis M. Rawls, 18, of 806 Crest Ave., Charleroi, faces multiple drug charges after Charleroi Regional police said they found 56 ounces of marijuana and a large amount of cash in his backpack following a foot chase in the borough about 8 p.m. Sunday. Police said they charged Rawls with distribution of a controlled substance, criminal use of a communications facility, possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia and fleeing in the incident in the 200 block of Fallowfield Ave.


DEEMSTON

Disorderly conduct charge: Brianna Schamp, 21, of Fredericktown, was charged with disorderly conduct after state police said she got into an argument with another person outside 1645 Morey Road in Deemston at 7:20 p.m. Sunday.


DONORA

Drug possession charges: Donora police charged Stephen Lanier, 70, of 100 Modisette Ave., with drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia after police said they found him with crack cocaine during a traffic stop on Allen Avenue about 3 p.m. Saturday.


ELLSWORTH

Fight charges: A husband and wife face simple assault and harassment charges after they allegedly fought in their Ellsworth home Oct. 2. Police said Kristie Lee Stetz, 32, and Joseph M. Stetz, 34, got into the fight in which she is accused of hitting him in the head and leg with a rolling pin and he allegedly struck her and dragged her around the home. Police said they also charged Kristie Stetz with making terroristic threats.


MONONGAHELA

Burglary charges: Brian J. Porter, 25, no address, is accused of stealing a television and Xbox 360 game system from his father’s home at 1009 Chess St. in Monongahela before trying to burglarize the house again on Sept. 22, city police said. Porter is charged with burglary, criminal attempt, trespassing, theft and receiving stolen property.


Assault charge: Monongahela police said they charged Damon Bentley, 38, of 127 Downer St., with terroristic threats, harassment and two counts each of aggravated assault and simple assault after he allegedly threatened his girlfriend and assaulted her in his home Aug. 4.


NEW EAGLE

Man charged with assault: Michael H. Runski, 54, of 105 Neville St., New Eagle, was charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, disorderly conduct and harassment after Monongahela police said he struck his girlfriend and pushed her to the ground at his residence about 9 p.m. Sunday.


NORTH FRANKLIN

Fight leads to charges: William E. Banks Jr., 25, of 549 Buena Vista St., Washington, and Charles Morris Jr., 29, of 2956 Taft St., North Franklin, were charged with disorderly conduct following a fight in the 100 block of Hamilton Street on Sept. 28, township police said.


Jewelry stolen at fair: North Franklin police said a dozen pieces of sterling silver jewelry worth about $800 were stolen from a vendor at the antique fair at Consol Energy Park Sept. 29.


House burglarized: A 19-inch computer monitor worth about $100 was stolen when a home at 154 Baltimore Ave. was burglarized between Sept. 21 and Oct. 5, North Franklin police said. Police said someone pried the door open to get into the house.


Cars break-ins reported: Items were stolen from two cars parked at Washington Crown Center mall late Saturday night, North Franklin Township police said. Police said a cell phone charger, sunglasses and GPS unit worth a combined $340 were stolen from one car, while credit and debit cards were stolen from another car.


NORTH STRABANE

Two accused of prowling at casino: North Strabane police said they arrested two out-of-state men and accused them of prowling in the Meadows Racetrack & Casino parking garage early Sunday morning. Police said they charged Braxton Riley Mount, 21, of Martins Ferry, Ohio, and William R. Mount III, 28, of Wheeling, W.Va., with possessing instruments of crime, criminal attempt, conspiracy, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after they were stopped by casino security guards in the north garage about 2 a.m. Police said the two men were seen wearing gloves and using flashlights to look into unoccupied cars.


Assault charge: Matthew Ross, 32, of 11 Linton Road, Centerville, is charged with simple assault and harassment after North Strabane police said he crashed his truck on Roberts Lane about 11 p.m. Saturday and then struck his wife in the face. Police said he left the scene and later blamed injuries to his wife on the crash.


PETERS

Fight in Hackett: Peters Township police said two men who were fighting at 11:20 a.m. Sunday in the village of Hackett will be charged with harassment. They are Glenn Arthur Kirk of 965 Venetia Road and Curtis Abell of 105 Kuchinic St. Police said the men exchanged words outside Kirk’s home, and Kirk then followed Abell to his home in Hackett, where the two exchanged blows and shoved each other.


DUI accident: David McDonough, 23, of 217 Camelford Road, McMurray, will be charged with drunken driving in connection with an accident at 11:50 p.m. Thursday that occurred when the eastbound vehicle he was driving struck a fence at 515 Waterdam Road. McDonough also will be charged with careless driving. Peters Township police said he failed a field-sobriety test and a breath test before he was released into the custody of his father.


UNION

Tools stolen: A 55-gallon drum, two doors, eight nail-pulling pliers and 18 aluminum spikes worth a combined $910 were reported stolen Sunday morning from a home on Limestone Drive in Union Township, Southwest Regional police said.


Car parts stolen: A catalytic converter and two car radiators were stolen from outside a Stout Street residence between Sept. 22 and Oct. 5, Southwest Regional police said.


WASHINGTON

Assault charge: Shawn Harden, 30, no address, was charged with simple assault, trespassing and disorderly conduct after Washington police said he assaulted another man at 390 Duncan Ave. about 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Police said Harden also urinated in the department’s holding cell following his arrest.


Disorderly conduct charge: Robert McKahan, 28, of 175 Grove Ave., Washington, was charged with disorderly conduct after city police said he got into a fight with a woman at his residence about 10 p.m. Friday.


Woman accused of assault: City police said they charged Cecilia B. Camps, 24, of 660 Henderson Ave., Washington, with simple assault after she allegedly attacked her boyfriend in the 200 block of Shirls Ave. early Saturday morning.


DUI crash: Trista L. Fairchild, 27, of 193 Marra Ave., Canton, was charged with driving under the influence after Washington police said she crashed into two parked cars on Locust Avenue and tried to leave about 10:30 p.m. Saturday.


Drug paraphernalia: Michael Jeffery Oravetz, 38, of 1030 Allison Ave., Washington, was charged by state police with possession of drug paraphernalia and multiple license and registration violations during a traffic stop at Allison Avenue and Wylie Avenue Sept. 28. Police said they found a smoking device and an empty stamp bag inside his vehicle. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
