HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) – A Pennsylvania man has pleaded guilty to a shooting death that took place at a campground last year.
Prosecutors say 32-year-old Adam R. Homer of Harrisburg pleaded Tuesday and will serve 20 to 40 years in state prison for the death of 48-year-old Michael Snyder and the wounding of his brother Allan Snyder in May, 2012, TV station WHTM reports.
Investigators say Homer fatally shot Snyder and wounded Snyder’s brother during an argument at a campground along the Swatara Creek. That’s about 20 miles northeast of Harrisburg.
Chief Deputy District Attorney Sean McCormack says the plea agreement brought closure for Allan Snyder, who agreed to the deal.
