A second Washington & Jefferson College student was charged this week in a drug investigation on campus.

College police charged Geoffrey D. Stumpo, 18, of Jerome, in a summons filed Wednesday with possession of marijuana, accusing him of having eight bags of the drug in his room in a dormitory on Beau Street, court records show.

Police said they discovered the marijuana while responding to his room about 12:12 a.m. Oct. 3 over a complaint someone had smelled marijuana smoke there, the record shows.

Later that morning, police stated, they seized cocaine, marijuana, Ecstasy, a .40-caliber handgun and drug paraphernalia from the campus apartment of James R. Ogrady, 21, of Mechanicsburg.

Ogrady has been charged via summons with three counts of drug possession with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
