Trespass, mischief arrest: William J. Yarbrough, 43, of 312 N. Central Ave., Canonsburg, was arrested Monday night by Canonsburg police after he allegedly kicked in the front door of a home at 630 Euclid Ave. Yarbrough was arraigned before District Judge David Mark on charges of criminal trespass, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, harassment and public drunkenness.
Assault charge: Howard W. Miller Jr., 40, of 1054 Findlay St., Canton, was arrested Tuesday morning by state police on charges of simple assualt and harassment after he allegedly struck Jill Whiteman in the face during a confrontation at his home. He was arraigned before District Judge David Mark on charges of simple assault and harassment.
Man jailed: Robert W. Heckman, 32, of 929 Fayette St., Belle Vernon, is charged by borough police with drug possession, simple assault and harassment, court records show. Police accuse him of having three Clonazepam pills about 11:15 p.m. Monday when they arrested him on allegations he struck his girlfriend, Anna Marie Rattay, at 495 Seventh St. He is in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.
House burglarized: Michelle Lea Vereb of 1050 Burgettstown Road, Mt. Pleasant, told state police Monday afternoon firearms, a television and an Xbox 360 game console were stolen during a burglary of her home.
Puppy, money stolen: Robert Gallo of 530 Ash St. told North Strabane police Monday that a 10-week-old Pomeranian-Lhasa Apso mix and $537 were stolen from his home.
Harassment charge: Joshua David, 29, of 113 Gibson Ave., was charged by city police with harassment for allegedly pushing and hitting another man in the face at the Exxon station on Ridge Avenue Monday. Charges were sent by summons through the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
