Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident on S Bridge Road in South Franklin Township Friday night.

Both were flown by emergency helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital, though Pennsylvania state police did not know which hospital. The injured persons were not identified.

A landing zone was set up at McGuffey High School and four fire departments – South Franklin Township, Claysville, Taylorstown and Morris Township – responded.

The accident is currently under investigation.
