CANONSBURG

Burglary report: A checkbook, $305 money order and video games were reported stolen about 2:45 p.m. Monday from the 603 Valley View Terrace residence of Nina Schaefer, borough police said. It appeared entry to her apartment was gained through an unlocked kitchen window.


CANTON

Vehicles collide: Robert Marra, 66, of Meadow Lands suffered minor injuries about 3:20 p.m. Monday when the vehicle he was driving collided at Point View Drive and Weirich Avenue with another operated by Donald Hanes, 60, of Washington, who was not injured, state police reported.


CHARTIERS

One-car crash: A Canonsburg woman suffered minor injuries to her hands Tuesday when she lost control of her vehicle on icy Plum Run Road in Chartiers Township and it struck a tree at Johnson Hill Road. Ashley Balzer, 19, had to be extricated from her vehicle after it came to rest on its side, Chartiers police said. She refused medical treatment following the 11:44 a.m. accident.
