FAIRLESS HILLS (AP) – Police are investigating surveillance video which shows a woman stealing from a Toys for Tots bin at a restaurant near Philadelphia.

The video is from the Wings-to-Go restaurant in Bristol Township. That’s near Fairless Hills, a few miles northeast of the city.

The incident happened about 5 p.m. Monday and was captured by the store’s camera.

Philadelphia TV stations have aired video of the theft, which has prompted more toy donations at the restaurant.

General Manager Nicole Dean says the wing shop has been involved in the charity, which provides Christmas toys to poorer children, for more than 10 years.

She says the woman didn’t need to steal the toys if she was down on her luck, saying, “If she needed help, we would have given her a meal. We would have helped her.”
