Armed robber holds up Greene Co. gas station

Pennsylvania State Police in Waynesburg are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Marathon gas station at 1496 Jefferson Road, Jefferson Borough, Greene County, about 8:30 p.m. Saturday. According to police, one white male in his 20s walked into the store with a handgun and ordered the clerk away from the cash register, and then another white male in his 20s stole money from the register.

Both men fled the store on foot. The amount stolen from the store has not been determined.
