WHEELING, W.Va. (AP) – Wheeling police are investigating the death of an Ohio man whose body was found on a creek bank.

Media outlets report that police identified the body as that of 38-year-old Hysel Lee Gibson of Martins Ferry, Ohio.

Police Chief Shawn Schwertfeger says it’s too early to determine the cause of death.

A person walking on a trail found the body Saturday morning on the bank of Big Wheeling Creek.
