An attack on our freedoms

  • December 28, 2013

Our freedoms under the Constitution and Bill of Rights protect all citizens of the United States. Political correctness is an intrusion on our freedom when it influences what we are allowed to believe and what we are allowed to say. Political correctness comes and goes with the tides. The Constitution and Bill of Rights can stand the test of time.

We all have the freedom to watch or not watch a television program based on what we believe and find entertaining. When you try to take away my freedom to practice my religion, my freedom to speak my mind or write what I feel I need to say, then I rightly despise those actions.

Let Phil Robertson return to “Duck Dynasty.” Removing him from his show because he stated his personal beliefs is just another attack on our freedoms.
