Numerous people appeared recently in Washington County Court on criminal charges. Appearing before Judge Gary Gillman was:

Michael Muha, 74, of 27 Hi-View Lane, Finleyville; possession of a firearm prohibited, possession of a firearm with an altered number; charged Jan. 7, 2012; sentence – 2 to 23 months in the Washington County jail and 100 hours of community service.

Appearing before Valarie Costanzo were:

Nathan C. Ellis, 24, of 31 ½ E. Hallam Ave., Washington; simple possession, possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Dec. 4; sentence – 2 to 12 months in Washington County jail, drug and alcohol treatment.

Mitchell L. Erb, 27, of St. Mary’s, W.Va.; disorderly conduct; charged Oct. 29, 2012; sentence – 30 days in jail.

Appearing before Judge John DiSalle were:

Frank J. Anderson, 63, of 1725 Flagler St., McKeesport; driving under the influence of alcohol; charged Nov. 14, 2012; sentence – 90 days to 18 months on home monitoring, $1,500 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation and license suspended.

Charles Ceaser IV, 39, of 3001 Beaver Ave. Pittsburgh; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Sept. 1, 2011; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Megan E. Angelone, 31, 240 N. College St., Washington; theft by deception, conspiracy to commit theft and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged June 27; sentence – 18 months of probation, restitution of $102 to Walmart and banned from store.

Nicole L. Hall, 21, of 49 Imperial Ave., Washington; theft by deception; charged Nov. 13; sentence – 12 months of probation, restitution of $83, drug and alcohol evaluation, banned from Walmart, no contact with co-defendants and retail theft classes.

Adam R. Clutter, 35, of 208 Ridge Ave., Washington; two counts retail theft; charged Nov. 9; sentence – 12 months of probation, $322 in restitution to Walmart, retail theft classes, no contact with co-defendants and banned from store.

Ronald F. Boyer, 21, of 66 Baby Hollow Road, Burgettstown; burglary; charged Jan. 31, 2013; sentence – 23 months of electric home monitoring, $2,670 in restitution, 100 hours of community service.

Charles Shider, 23, of 300 Perry Ave., Belle Vernon; fraudulent title; charged May 27; sentence – 1 to 12 months in jail, drug and alcohol evaluation and a $1,000 fine.

Brandon R. Conti, 24, of 428 Birch Ave., New Eagle; unsworn falsification and driving while suspended; charged Sept. 19; sentence – 12 months of probation and a $272 fine.

Joshua K. Thomas, 35, of 29 W. College St., Canonsburg; possession of prohibited firearm, possession with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substance; charged May 10; sentence – 5 to 10 years in a state prison.

Appearing before Judge Katherine Emery were:

Michael L. Coyle, 34, of Sewickley; two counts of theft; charged Jan. 14, 2013; sentence – 3 to 12 months in jail and restitution of $240.

Almondie Rawls, 35, of Charleroi; possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Sept. 26; sentence – 2 months in jail, 12 months of probation.

Edris L. Miller, 57, of Braddock, was admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program for 12 months for a first offense of driving under the influence; charged Sept. 30; if he successfully completes the program he can petition the court to have his record expunged.
