State police: Man in car dies from surgical wound

PITTSBURGH (AP) – State police in Pittsburgh say a man who was found dead in his vehicle on a highway off-ramp apparently bled to death from a surgical incision.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported Sunday 34-year-old John Yuhas of Emsworth was discovered earlier that day slumped over in his vehicle along Interstate 279.

Police tell the paper he’d recently told someone an incision on his arm from surgery was bleeding and needed to be repaired.

The busy highway ramp was shut down for several hours while police investigated.
