Child believed dead inside burning W. Pa. home

MCKEESPORT (AP) – Emergency crews say a child is believed to be dead in a burning home in the Pittsburgh suburb of McKeesport.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Investigators say another child was being treated for burns suffered before escaping from the blaze. The child believed to be dead is 2 or 3 years old.

Investigators have yet to release the victim’s name.

It was not immediately clear when the fire started early Monday.
