CANONSBURG

DUI charge: Robert Sowinski, 35, of 163 Sowinsky Road, Cecil, was charged with driving under the influence after Canonsburg police said he crashed into two other vehicles at First and Cecil streets about 10 a.m. Wednesday.


CECIL

License plate stolen: Hanco Inc., 102 Freedom Drive, Lawrence, reported a license plate was ripped from a truck. The theft was reported at 7:58 a.m. Thursday, but the plate could have been stolen while the truck was on a trip to Ohio, police said.


PETERS

Access device fraud: A resident reported that $2,410 was missing from a checking account, with three withdrawals occurring last July. It was discovered only recently that the money was missing. The theft was reported at 5:45 p.m. Thursday.


Burglary reported: Bado’s Cuccina, 3825 Washington Road, reported at 1:39 p.m. Thursday the restaurant was entered, and about $50 and some change was removed from the cash drawer. Nothing else was stolen.


Money stolen: A student at Peters Township High School, 264 E. McMurray Road, reported at 1:40 p.m. Thursday $50 was stolen from her purse in the girls locker room.
