Baseball: Bentworth, Trinity a winner

Zack Atkinson went 2-for-2 and drove in three runs to help Bentworth defeat West Greene, 10-0, in a five-inning, non-section game.

Hunter Neely and Matt Vickless each went 3-for-4, and winning pitcher Taylor Bunner went 2-for-2 with an RBI for the 3-0 Bearcats.

Zack Bedilion had the only hit for West Greene (1-1), a single in the fourth.

• Dom Neff hit a three-run home run to propel Trinity to a 10-3 victory over Greensburg Central Catholic at the Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Garrett Bryant had a triple and Guy Markley added a double for the Hillers (1-1).

• In a late Friday game, Uniontown scored three times in the third for a 3-2 victory over Trinity at the Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Evan McDaniel had a two-run single for the Hillers.
