St. Ann to present ‘The Passion Play’

St. Ann Roman Catholic Church’s youth organization, SAYSO, will present “The Passion Play,” a portrayal of Jesus Christ’s last week on earth from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday. The play will be presented at 6:30 p.m. today and at 1 p.m. Good Friday. The public is invited and refreshments will be offered following today’s performance. Featured in the cast are from left, first row, Asia Revak as the Blessed Mother, Madeline McClure as Veronica, Jaden Revak as Jesus, Dalton Taylor and Cameron Reese Haught as soldiers; second row, soldiers Matthew Desrosiers, Rachel Sielski, Josh Pultorak, J.J. Martinez, Lauren Rudinsky, Jorden Steinmiller and Joseph Kirsh; back row are Casey Desrosiers, who plays Pilate, and Tyler Jeffries, who portrays Barabbas. The play also features Jenna Cario as the narrator and Rachel Warman as the stage manager/lighting director. The SAYSO coordinators are Irene Jacobs and Deb DuBois.
