NEW CASTLE (AP) – Emergency divers recovered the body of a Pennsylvania woman whose boat capsized while she was fishing with her husband.

Scott Township fire chief Jack Hitchen said the body of 26-year-old Nancy Ellen List was recovered Wednesday at about 2:30 p.m. outside of New Castle. That’s about 50 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.

List was fishing in a small aluminum boat on a private lake when the boat overturned between 8 and 9 p.m. Tuesday, state police said. The couple reportedly held on to the boat for a time but then Nancy List went under, while her husband was able to make it to shore and call for help.
