Cal’s Maestre honored by PSAC

California University’s Carla Maestre earned both PSAC Women’s Golfer and Freshman of the Year, as selected by the league’s head coaches.

Maestre, one of four All-PSAC selections from California, tied for 44th overall at the NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Championships last week in Conover, N.C. She was the first golfer from California to individually qualify for the national championship since 2009.
