Money stolen: Ashley Boehm of 185 Hallam Ave. told Chartiers police Saturday her bank account was accessed and $246 was stolen.
DUI crash: Ossie Tomblin, 64, of Burgettstown, will be charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after his vehicle went off Cherry Valley Road near Loffert Road, Mt. Pleasant, hit an embankment and rolled on its roof about 6:15 p.m. Saturday, state police said.
Theft: A resident of the 200 block of Walnut Drive, Venetia, told police Tuesday his truck was entered while parked in the driveway and $1,600 and two rebate cards were stolen, township police said. The owner said he noticed the driver’s door partially open, along with the glove box and console.
Appliances stolen: A microwave, double oven and cooktop were reported stolen Tuesday from a house under construction on Wellborne Drive in the Whispering Pines development, township police said. The appliances were still in the boxes and are owned by Benjamin Marcus Homes of Venetia, police said. Marcus said the house was secured, but several subcontractors have keys.
Cash stolen: Billie Willhoft of 849 Henderson Ave., Washington, told South Strabane police Monday $60 was stolen from the center console of her vehicle while she was parked at Sam’s Club, Trinity Point.
