Two to face charges in 2005 Western Pa. slaying
PITTSBURGH (AP) – Authorities in Western Pennsylvania say two men have been charged in the murder of a man shot while playing dice games in the street in a Pittsburgh-area borough nine years ago.
Police in Allegheny County said 28-year-old Tiaron Moses of McKees Rocks was arrested Wednesday in the July 2005 shooting death of 24-year-old Jeffrey Williams in Braddock.
Detectives said 25-year-old Terrance Smith of Duquesne, who is currently incarcerated in Greene County in an unrelated case, would also be arraigned in Williams’ slaying.
Both face criminal homicide and firearms counts.
Authorities allege in a criminal complaint that the shooting stemmed from a feud between Smith and Williams that stemmed from a drug debt.
They say in the complaint that a third man involved in the shooting was murdered in 2008.
