HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Pennsylvania’s top prosecutor says she’s about to release a report into how police and prosecutors handled the Jerry Sandusky case.

Attorney General Kathleen Kane said Friday that Geoff Moulton’s review will be released Monday morning at a news conference in the Capitol.

Kane vowed to look into the child molestation investigation while running for office in 2012.

The criminal case began with a report in Clinton County in late 2008, and nearly three years passed before the former Penn State assistant coach was arrested.

Kane’s suggested that then-attorney general Tom Corbett had a political motivation to slow the investigation while he was running for governor in 2010, something Corbett has strongly denied.

Sandusky was convicted of 45 counts of child sexual abuse and is serving a lengthy state prison sentence.
