Armed woman robs Circle K in Carmichaels

State police are investigating an armed robbery at the Circle K convenience store in Carmichaels early Sunday morning.

Police said a woman wearing a mask over her face walked into the store at 202 W. George St. shortly after 3 a.m., pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.

The woman left the store with an undetermined amount of cash, police said. Investigators did not have a description on the woman and did not say if anyone in the store was injured.

State police are asking anyone with information to call their barracks in Waynesburg at 724-627-6151.
