Route 19 traffic restriction Saturday night

Pennsylvania American Water Co. will be making a connection on a 24”-inch main in front of the Cracker Barrel on Route 19 near the Murtland Avenue interchange with Interstate 70 in South Strabane Township starting at 9 p.m. Saturday until approximately 9 a.m. Sunday. This $1.5 million project is a part of the state Department of Transportation’s reconstruction of the interchange and during this time, Route 19 will be reduced to one lane and motorists traveling north on Route 19 can expect delays.
