PITTSBURGH (AP) – Police say a 34-year-old woman was fatally shot and her mother was wounded inside their Pittsburgh garage.

Authorities say three gunmen fired at least 20 shots just after 3 p.m. Friday in the Hill District neighborhood, killing Tina Crawford and injuring her mother, 63-year-old Patsy Crawford. The women were standing inside a basement garage at their home.

Neighbors say both women were good people who didn’t cause any trouble. Police are trying to determine a motive and say one suspect fled on foot and two others by car.

Patsy Crawford was reportedly shot in the hip and taken to UPMC Presbyterian hospital.
