BURGETTSTOWN

Window broken: William R. Craig, of 17 Elm St., Burgettstown, told McDonald police Saturday the passenger side window of his car was broken by vandals.


CHARTIERS

DUI crash: Dale High Jr., 31, of 12 E. Pike St., Houston, faces a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol after his pickup truck hit a concrete wall at 915 W. Pike and then a utility pole about 10:45 p.m. Friday, Chartiers police said. A tire was ripped off the truck in the crash. High, who told police he was drinking, was treated at the scene. His blood-alcohol content was double the 0.08 percent limit presumed for intoxication.


Medication stolen: An Arizona man told Chartiers police Friday prescription medication was stolen from his brother’s home on Railroad Street.


FALLOWFIELD

Harassment charge: Joseph William Zyra, 51, of Bentleyville, was charged Friday night with harassment by state police after he allegedly tried to hit Arnold Frankie, 49, of Monongahela, with a chair during a confrontation on Kevech Road, Fallowfield.


SOUTH STRABANE

Golf balls stolen: An employee of Pomykala Driving Range, 1250 Locust Ave., told South Strabane police Saturday 300 golf balls valued at $100 were stolen from the grounds of the driving range.


Car entered: A witness told South Strabane police he saw a white man getting out of an older-model green BMW and go through an unlocked vehicle owned by Carrie Benitez, no address available, while it was parked in the lot at Kohl’s, Strabane Square, Saturday. Benitez told police it appears nothing was stolen. The man, described as white, tall, either bald or with short hair and wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts, got back in his vehicle and fled onto Berry Road.
